More Eggs!
No pictures as Madeline and Michael ate them as soon as they were laid. We got another egg the day after the first one, Tuesday. Then no eggs the next day. Today we got two eggs! One cream colored/pinkish egg and later in the day a brown speckled egg. So pretty! I think that the two that are laying are buttbeak (a Polish) and one of "the twins" a Rhode Island Red.

I can't figure out how to do the you tube on the blog thing but I really like this song and wanted to share it.

Look what we found!!!!
No idea who laid it but YAY EGGS!!! There was nothing this morning and then Joe found this when he went to give them water this evening. It was right there by the waterer.
Isn't it pretty. The pic is not the best. It was a beautiful cream color.
Fried egg with dinner (tacos) LOL
Watching it cook, she did not want to share it at all but managed to give the other two a bite.
It is now safe to say that one of the eight chickens will not become soup. It has been a long wait for this. Can't wait for the next one!

Prayers please
Joe called me this morning at 7 am. Why was he calling me at 7 am? To tell me he drove himself to the ER at 2 am and was going in to surgery at 7:30. He did not want to wake me up! He is fine and recovering now from having his gall bladder removed. Please pray for a speedy recovery. He is in a lot of pain but hopefully will be discharged soon.
